Privacy Policy

 

1. Introduction

 

At Angelchat, experienced business leaders and entrepreneurs work together with engineers and technicians towards a common goal: to counteract perceived loneliness about emotional pain. For us at Angelchat, you as an individual always come first and this Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes our handling of your personal data in connection with the use of any of our services ("the Services").

 

In the Privacy Policy we explain in more detail how Angelchat works for you as a user and who is responsible for the personal data processing that occurs in connection with the use of the Services. We also describe what personal information about you is processed when you use the Services, how we process personal data and why. We also describe which legal support justifies the processing in question and which third parties may handle personal information about you in order for us to provide the Services. You also get information about your rights in terms of the processing that takes place regarding your personal data and how you can go about exercising those rights.

2. Who is responsible for the processing of personal data?

 

It's Angelchat AB, org. no. 556206-5014 ("Angelchat") who owns and provides the technical platform and application Angelchat (the "App") and who is responsible for personal data processing of the personal data that you register in the App.

 

If you have any questions or concerns about the processing of your personal data in connection with your use of the Services, you are always welcome to contact us through our web site.

 

3. Where do we collect the personal information that is processed about you when you use the Services?

 

3.1 Personal information registered through your user account in the App

 

Angelchat processes the personal information about you that you register through your user account through Facebook, Google or Apple (such as name and email address) in connection with opening your user account with us and then the information that you register when using the App. In addition, we may automatically collect and process the following information:

 

(a) technical information including IP address, login information, type and version of operating system and device, time settings, selected language, cookies etc.

 

(b) information about the Services you have used with us, time spent on matters, what pages and functions you have used, etc.

 

Information about our use of cookies is also stated in Angelchat's policy for cookies.

 

Personal information provided in connection with your downloading and use of the App, we call below "User data".

 

3.2 Personal Information to and from Users

 

When you seek support through Angelchat, you will be asked to create an anonymous profile used to match you with person who shares the same experiences as yourself. You do this primarily by completing the relevant forms in the App. This information may include, but is not limited to, information that you suffer from any illness or mental condition.

 

4. Where is your personal data stored?

 

The app is a proprietary technical platform owned and controlled by Angelchat and which is continuously developed and quality assured. Most of your personal information that we process in connection with your use of the Services is not stored on your mobile or tablet. This personal data is instead stored by Angelchat in infrastructure provided by one of Angelchat's personal data assistants. Personal data is handled and stored primarily within the EU / EEA and no sensitive personal data, such as data related to your health, is stored outside the EU / EES in connection with the use of the Services.

 

5. What personal information is processed when you use Angelchat and why?

 

5.1 Angelchat's processing of your User Data

 

Angelchat processes your User Data (as described above in Section 3.1) in order to

 

(I) process your application or termination of your user account in the App

 

(II) grant you permission to log in and use your user account

 

(III) ensure your identity and age

 

(IV) maintain accurate and up-to-date information about you

 

(V) allow you to monitor and manage ongoing dialogues with other Users

 

(VI) manage your choice of payment settings and details

 

(VII) deliver the Services to you in accordance with our Terms of Use.



 

We rely on the legal basis "Agreement" (Article 6 (1) (b) of the Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR"), ie. that the processing of your personal data may be considered necessary for Angelchat to fulfill the agreement (our General Terms and Conditions) that you have entered into with Angelchat, in order to be able to provide the Services, including enabling the User to provide good support in connection with the use of the Services.

 

5.2 Provision of related support services to your use of the Services

 

Angelchat may communicate with you as a User of the Services. This includes: to respond to inquiries and to investigate complaints and support matters (including technical support) through our support service via telephone or in our digital channels. Depending on your case, you may share additional User Data which we will then process in order to help you make best use of the Services.

 

Angelchat provides support as above as part of the Services (i.e., in order to fulfill the agreement between you and Angelchat).

 

5.3 To be able to market products and services and improve your user experience

 

Angelchat processes portions of your User Data (as described above in Section 3.1) for the following purposes: direct marketing to you via email and SMS or other similar electronic channels of communication, e.g. in conjunction with promotions and offers in cooperation with partner partners to Angelchat. This includes analysis about you as a user of Angelchat and how you use the Services (such as which pages you visited and what searches you did). Our analysis also includes information about your age and place of residence.

 

Angelchat also collects information about your use of the Services in order to improve the user experience in the App. Information about you as a user is also used for marketing purposes by Angelchat.

 

Marketing mailings to you are made with the support of your consent which you may withdraw at any time in accordance with section 9 below.

 

5.4. To fulfill legal obligations

 

Angelchat may process your User Data (as described above in sections 3.1–3.2) using the legal basis “legal obligation” (Article 6 (1) (c) of the GDPR) to fulfill obligations under laws, judgments or government decisions.

 

We also store and process your personal data to the extent necessary to enable us to fulfill our legal obligations and the requirements set by law.

 

5.5 To be able to evaluate, develop and improve the quality of the Services



 

Angelchat may process your personal information in order to develop and improve the Services and the IT systems used to provide the Services. But also with the aim of continuously increasing the security and our handling of personal data as well as to make the App more user-friendly, eg. by changing the user interface to simplify the flow of information or to highlight features commonly used by our users.

 

We only process sensitive personal information about you in order to be able to provide the Services (i.e. to be able to fulfill the agreement between you and Angelchat) and to be able to quality assure and develop the support in accordance with applicable legislation. All other development of our Services takes place with the aid of unidentified data.

 

6. How long do we store your personal information?

 

We will only process your personal data as long as it is necessary for the purposes the data in question is processed for in accordance with section 5 above, i.e. as long as it is necessary to provide the Services or to fulfill the legal obligations incumbent upon us. We also have routines for how we store or de-identify personal data in order to continuously ensure that your personal data is at all times adequate and relevant to our continued provision of the Services. Your User Information will be deleted or de-identified at the latest six (6) months after you terminate your User Account with us, if the personal data is not necessary to save in order to fulfill our obligations under legal requirements or the information is otherwise required to collect legal claims. All information that is not needed for the performance and development of the Services or for quality assurance purposes is anonymized and saved after the purpose of the information is fulfilled or deleted automatically. User data stored on the basis of your consent will be deleted if you revoke your consent. In Section 10, you can read more about how you exercise your right to withdraw your consent.

 

7. Third parties to whom your personal information may be shared when you use the Services

 

7.1 Subcontractors to Angelchat

 

In order for us to offer you the Services, we use a number of external suppliers who in some cases process personal data. Our IT service providers, such as operating and hosting providers, work only on behalf of Angelchat and according to Angelchat's instructions as a so-called. Personal Data Assistants.

 

Angelchat also employs suppliers who work independently and are thus responsible for the processing of your personal data, such as payment solution providers. You will be asked, if applicable, to enter into a separate agreement directly with such supplier. Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to the processing of personal data these suppliers. For information on how other suppliers process your personal data, we refer you to these suppliers.

 

7.2 Other Users


 

Angelchat connects you with other Users who give you support or who you support. The conversations with these Users on Angelchat are anonymous for as long as you like and only happen to people of the same gender in order to protect your privacy as much as possible. We authenticate all user accounts to ensure as much as possible that there is a person behind each account who is the person it claims to be. What you share with other Users is information between you that Angelchat is not responsible for.

 

8. Third-country transfer

 

Angelchat can in some cases use IT providers for hosting and operating services with operations outside Sweden.

 

However, the transfer of personal data to countries outside the EU / EEA occurs only in exceptional cases and only if the transfer is legal under applicable data protection legislation to protect your personal integrity in the receiving country with reference to either

 

(I) Decision of the European Commission on an adequate level of protection

 

(II) application of the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses for third country transfer

 

(III) that the recipient of the Privacy Shield Code and thus the requirement of adequate protection (applies to transfer to the United States)

 

(IV) other appropriate safeguards to comply with applicable data protection laws.


 

9. Your rights as registered in the App and users of the Services

 

You have the right to receive information about which of your personal data we process, for what purpose they are processed, if such personal data is transferred to a third country and which third parties have received your personal data. To clarify, you can contact us at any time to

 

(I) request access to and obtain information about what personal data is processed in connection with your use of the App and / or the Services, including your journal, who has accessed it and why

 

(II) ask us to correct any incorrect information about you

 

(III) request that your personal data be deleted.

 

(IV) ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data, and request in writing that the information may not be used for direct marketing purposes

 

(V) object to the processing of personal data

 

(VI) request the transfer of personal data to another data controller by obtaining your personal data, to the extent they have been provided from you, in an electronic format commonly used to transfer it to another party (the right to data portability)

10. Right to file a complaint to the supervisory authority

 

With this Privacy Policy we hope that we have clarified how we handle your personal information, but if anything is unclear, we gratefully receive your feedback and answer your questions so that we can improve our communication around this. We would also like to inform you that you have the right to file a complaint with the Data Inspectorate or other relevant supervisory authority in the event that you consider that the personal data processing is incorrect and does not meet legal requirements.
